Your reviews mean the world to me, and one of the most meaningful things about being an author is when readers take time out of their day to share how my stories made them feel. It reminds me why I write and keeps me fuelled to write more! So I thought I would gather together some of your beautiful five-star reviews for the four books I have written so far, just to celebrate them here with you and show how grateful I am to each and every one of you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stuff I Can’t Say Out Loud

"Wow — what a fantastic book. Day-to-day life as a ten-year-old neurodivergent girl is so well portrayed by the author. I totally love the teacher, Mrs Lovell, and have so much empathy with Summer.

The book has humour (“There’s a boy in my class who’s basically a human popcorn kernel” made me laugh out loud) and some more thought-provoking moments (“Fair isn’t everyone getting the same thing. Fair is everyone getting what they need.”)."

"The book is suitable for adults and children alike, and a great read, especially for those that are — or know someone — neurodivergent. Massive congratulations on your first book — I look forward to the next one! I hope it flies off the shelves like it deserves to!"

"This is such an interesting and refreshing read. It highlights the difficulties “non-diagnosed” individuals face and tells a story from all angles. I cannot recommend it enough for anybody who is looking to understand neurodivergence, and I’m looking forward to Bren’s next book 😊"

"I picked this book up thinking I’d read a few pages — and ended up finishing it in one sitting. Summer’s voice is honest, funny, and quietly heartbreaking in places. I found myself nodding along, remembering moments from my own childhood and children I’ve known in schools."

"What really stood out was how real it felt. The sensory overload, the awkwardness in friendships, the quiet bravery it takes just to get through the day — it’s all here, but in a way that’s accessible and hopeful.

This book should be on every teacher’s shelf, and in every home where children are trying to find their place in a busy, noisy world. It’s not flashy or dramatic — it’s true. And that’s what makes it so powerful."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stuff That Won’t Stay Still

"I loved this book from start to finish! Stuff That Won’t Stay Still is the perfect sequel to Stuff I Can’t Say Out Loud. This wonderful and insightful book focuses on a different child in the same class, with the ever-patient and resourceful teacher, Mrs Lovell."

"With a combination of humour, frustration, and compassion, Bren Moore has once again stolen readers’ hearts with her young neurodivergent characters and their day-to-day challenges. I’m now eagerly awaiting the release of the next book in Bren’s series!"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Between the Towans

"Between the Towans is a beautifully written, heartwarming story that completely transported me to the Cornish coast. The setting is so vivid I could almost feel the sea breeze and hear the waves. Iris and Rafi’s slow, tender romance is full of quiet emotion and second chances, and the sea glass details are just gorgeous."

"This isn’t a flashy love story — it’s one that stays with you, like a perfect summer afternoon you don’t want to end. Highly recommend for anyone who loves gentle, character-driven romance with a real sense of place."

"This was a beautiful, evocative story set in a beautiful location. I know this area very well, and I could see, hear, and feel the place with every word spun by the author. I love this book and can’t wait for the next one."

"From its striking cover to its thoughtfully written story, this book immerses the reader in the beauty of the wild Cornish coast. A gentle love story full of heart and soul. A very well-written book by an upcoming new author. Looking forward to the next one!"

"On the coast of Cornwall there is much that is magical; add to that something that feels tragical, and what might you get? The beaches, the dunes, surf, seabirds, and some people that feel as if something is missing, or wrong."

"Between the Towans flowed so smoothly along that chapters 7–31 flew by. No spoilers from me, but I recommend that you read this book and hope that the story continues beyond the last page. Cornwall’s coastal strip near Hayle is almost a character in its own right. So glad I read this."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beneath the Towans’ Sky

"The first book in this series was captivating, but the second is even better. The characters just immerse you and pull you into the story of their lives, like the sea around which they are written. I loved how Cheryl’s story is unfolding too and can’t wait for Book 3."

These are just a few of your lovely comments, but every single review means the absolute world to me! Thank you to all the readers who took time to share their positive feedback — your words fuel my stories and ideas more than you'll ever know. And to be able to write is such a rewarding and amazing experience that you have gifted to me with every word you read.

Because of you, there are now new stories growing — Book 5 and Book 6 are already taking shape, and a brand-new series (Book 7!) is on its way later this year, with an entirely new story arc waiting to unfold.

Thank you for your reviews!

So truly, thank you — for reading, for reviewing, for encouraging, and for making every word worth writing.

With a full heart and endless gratitude,

Bren xoxo 💛
