I’m really excited to finally share a small but meaningful change — my author website has a new look, including a refreshed logo that feels much more like me 💻🌊
As a writer, so much of what I do is about voice, atmosphere, and place. Over time, I realised that while my stories had grown and evolved, my online space hadn’t quite kept pace. I wanted a website — and a visual identity — that reflected where my writing is now, and where it’s heading next ✍️📖

The new logo was designed with simplicity and clarity in mind. I wanted something calm, timeless, and rooted in the themes that run through my work: connection, belonging, and a strong sense of place 🤍 Like my stories, it’s influenced by Cornwall — its coastline, its openness, and its quiet strength 🌊 It feels softer, more grounded, and more reflective of the stories I tell.
Alongside the new logo, I’ve refreshed my author website so it’s easier to navigate and more enjoyable to explore ✨ You’ll now find clearer sections for my books, including Between the Towans, Beneath the Towans’ Sky, and the Stuff children’s series 📚, as well as a more detailed About page that shares a little more of my journey as a writer and educator.

One of the biggest changes is how I’ll be sharing updates going forward. The blog is now the place where I’ll post writing news, book updates, behind-the-scenes thoughts, and reflections on storytelling, teaching, and life by the sea 📝🌊 If you’d like to keep up with what I’m working on between book releases, this will be the best place to find those updates.

I’ve also added a mailing list to the site, which feels like an important step 📬 Social media is wonderful, but it can be fleeting, and I wanted a more direct way to stay connected. If you choose to sign up, you’ll receive occasional emails with news about new releases, upcoming projects, and a few behind-the-scenes extras — no spam, just updates I hope you’ll enjoy 🤍
This new logo and website feel like a fresh chapter — not a departure from what came before, but a clearer reflection of the stories I write and the place that inspires them 🌊📖 I hope the site feels welcoming, easy to explore, and a little like coming home.

If you’d like to have a look around, you can explore the new website here — and if you’d like to stay in touch, you can also join my mailing list for updates straight to your inbox ✨
Thank you, as always, for reading, supporting my work, and being part of this journey. It means more than I can say 🤍
